Phytosphingosine is one of the active ingredients in our Dermo-cleansing Lotion for Face and Eyes. It is obtained through biofermentation and is a natural compound of the ceramides found in the hydrolipidic film of the skin. This lipid is naturally present in the stratum corneum, the upper layers of the skin. Phytosphingosine offers demonstrated soothing properties for the skin.
