Laboratoire Léa Nature has patented the F.P.D. process that consists in encapsulating thermal spring water in a phospholipid lamellar gel which leaves a film on the surface of the skin, ensuring deeper penetration into the upper layers and preserving moisture so that it is gradually released into the tissues. This patent is present in the High Tolerance Light Emulsion.

Phytosphingosine is a lipid that is naturally present in the stratum corneum; it is a compound of the ceramides found in the hydrolipidic film of the skin. In its free form, it offers demonstrated soothing properties for the skin. It is obtained through biofermentation and is one of the main active ingredients in our High Tolerance Light Emulsion.
