Centella asiatica’s extract contains four main active compounds (asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic and madecassic acids) that are known to help stimulate collagen I and elastin synthesis and regulate inflammation. It has been known for millennia in Ayurvedic medicine for its restorative properties. The centella we use in Cicathermale® formulation is certified organic and is included in the patent for our +Cica 40ml repairing soothing cream.
