REACTIVE CONTROL

The 1st certified organic line made with Jonzac® thermal spring water designed for intolerant, allergy-prone skin

There are lots of symptoms associated with hyper-reactive and allergy-prone skin, which can be caused by a lower-than-normal tolerance threshold, genetic factors and an impaired skin microbiome. These include burning, tightness, itching and discomfort, occurring generally when the skin reacts excessively to stress brought on by, for example, cold, friction, unsuitable cosmetics, strong emotions or exposure to allergens.

The Reactive CONTROL line is designed and formulated specifically to satisfy the specific needs of intolerant, allergy-prone skin.

CLINICALLY-PROVEN EFFICACY : SKIN IS SOOTHED IN JUST 2 MINUTES1

This new certified organic and 100% natural-origin2 ultra-high-tolerance skincare routine is enriched with a synergy of powerful active ingredients: patented MICROBIOME-THERMAL® complex combining the benefits of Jonzac thermal spring water with Lactobacillus (a reputed postbiotic to preserve the skin barrier), dextrin (a starch derivative acting as a prebiotic to reduce inflammation and strengthen the skin microbiome) and phytosphingosine (a lipid naturally present in the stratum corneum of the skin that has anti-inflammatory, protective and moisturizing properties).

Clinically-proven efficacy under dermatological control. Result: skin is soothed in as little as 2 minutes2. Day after day, the skin becomes more resistant to external damage.

WHAT IS THE SKIN MICROBIOME?

The skin microbiome is the external component of the human microbiota. It is not as diverse as other biological microbiomes because of our harsh environmental conditions (high osmotic pressure, fewer available nutrients, presence of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids and other substances with potential antimicrobial activity, exfoliation, skin lymphoid tissue activity, UV exposure). It can also vary depending on the area of the body (dry, damp or highly lipophilic) and host (sex, age, ethnicity, hormones, use of antibiotics, etc.).

TIPS FOR CARING FOR INTOLERANT, ALLERGY-PRONE SKIN

HOW TO AVOID IRRITATING MY INTOLERANT SKIN?

1) Don’t cleanse your skin with running water
2) Opt for gentle textures, like lotions or gels
3) Don’t use cotton pads, or soak them first in thermal spring water

WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT MY SKIN ALLERGY?

If you have an allergic rash, the first thing to do is find out what you are allergic to. In lots of cases, contact dermatitis occurring on the face is caused by ingredients in inappropriate cosmetics (products containing essential oils can for example trigger an allergic skin reaction). We recommend that you consult an allergist or dermatologist, they can perform patch tests to find out which allergen is responsible. Once you know the cause of your skin allergy, it is important that you eliminate it from your daily routine, and that you choose the right cosmetics.
